Latvia’s Geospatial Information Technology Conference and EUROGI Members Meeting II 2018
Latvia’s Geospatial Information Technology (GIT) conference organized by Latvia’s GIS Association is the largest event dedicated to geospatial information technologies in the Baltics. This year EUROGI Members Meeting is incorporated in the conference and all members are invited to participate!
The goal of the event is to introduce professionals and policymakers with the latest trends in the industry, geospatial data access, and usage, international and interdisciplinary projects as well as public and professional education opportunities.
Amongst others, this year on the stage you will be able to hear the keynote speech from the Google’s Geospatial Technologist Ed Parsons. The topics of the conference this year will focus on:
- Open source data & technologies
- Remote sensing
- Interdisciplinary geospatial solutions
The conference will be held on December 7th at the Academic Center for Natural Sciences of the University of Latvia. The number of attendees is planned up to 400.
