EUROGI is pleased to invite its community to an upcoming webinar dedicated to the Galileo programme, Europe’s global navigation satellite system, and its growing role across geospatial applications.
This session will provide a clear and accessible introduction to Galileo services, presented by experts from the Galileo Support Centre (GSC) and the European Union Agency for the Space Programme. It will explore how Galileo is being used in practice, highlighting its capabilities and relevance for organisations working with geographic information.
Designed for a broad European audience, the webinar will bring together stakeholders from the public sector, private companies, academia, and local authorities. By connecting both data providers and users, the session reflects EUROGI’s mission to strengthen collaboration and support innovation through location-based information.

• Teresa Martinez
Teresa Martínez, from Telespazio Ibérica, is a GNSS consultant at GalileoSupport Centre (GSC), supporting the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA). She holds an MSc in Physics from the University of Granada. She has extensive experience in Global Navigation Satellite Services (GNSS), Earth Observation (EO), and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), combining technical, commercial, and consultancy skills. Teresa is a market-oriented Space Programme professional with a strong focus on user services and the adoption of GNSS across different application domains. Her work supports users in effectively accessing and leveraging Galileo services and EU space data
• Luis Chocano
Luis Chocano, from Ineco, is a GNSS Senior expert at Galileo Support Centre (GSC), providing specialized support to the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) and the Spanish Ministry of Transport. He holds an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He has complemented his technical background with postgraduate studies in business management in the United States and Spain. Luis has extensive experience in satellite navigation, space, and aviation, and has held multiple leadership roles, including Project Manager and Project Director, leading national and international projects. His work focuses on the management and implementation of GNSS and space initiatives, supporting the adoption of Galileo services across different sectors.
