SYMPOSIUM and EXHIBIT: GI FORUM 2012, Linking Geovizualisation, Society & Learning - Salzburg, 3-6 July 2012

From Tuesday, 03 July 2012
To Friday, 06 July 2012

GI_Forum focuses on an international audience that shares an interest in applied Geoinformatics. We wish to attract researchers who design, develop and apply advanced methods and techniques of Geoinformatics to a broad range of application domains.

We envision GI_Forum as an attractive discussion and publication platform for both young and well established scientists. Young researchers will especially benefit from an interdisciplinary forum where they can present their ideas and receive valuable feedback from the scientific and professional community. Established researchers will find a vibrant GI community of scientists from academia, industry and government to analyze progress and to explore new research directions.

GI_Forum 2012 offers full-fledged, intertwined tracks on GIScience & Technology and Learning with GI with a focus on geovisualization, society and learning, and their inter-relationships.

Keynotes by Sara Fabrikant, Muki Hakley, Alan MacEachran and Georg Gartner support the 2012 GI Forum special focus.
